Race Date: November 11th. Ol’ Milachi Crunch, an old school course from the first season. The first time we ran this we had 8 cars, the second time 18, and now 32 cars crammed into the narrow confines of Ol’ Milachi Crunch’s starting place. We thought that this would be that last run for this course due to the narrow start of only 6 wide, we had 4 rows of 6 and the front row was 8 wide. The wheel-to-wheel action usually means a pile up at the start, this was no exception as we took off several drives piled into each other. Cursing, shouts, and the hiss of popped tire ensued as the stuck drivers scrambled to free their racers from the wreckage. The lucky ones managed to pull away or go around the pile up and complete the course, the rest had to trickle down as they got free. While this course is slower than most and widens out a lot as it progresses it is by no means not dangerous. The slower (around 40 mph) speeds and wide path give into lax driving so cars are weaving down the course pel mel, it can be hazardous. The end is the most perilous as races tend to break hard and do broadies and had turns, sometimes the end of the race is more dangerous than the race it’s self!
