Next Race: Race #4 August 3rd. The GP Race!!!
This is a Grand Prix race or street track race on a real race course! This means the race is on private land so it's totally legal!!! We need not worry about the fuzz this time racers, Mike 13 really came through on this one. Being that it is on private land all racers will need to sign a waiver before you can race. Click here to get a copy of the waiver. Help us out by printing out a copy of the waiver beforehand. Since we're renting this course we need everyone on good behavior, pick up your trash etc. If they like us and how we handle things, we'll be able to use the course again. Let's not mess this up by being dickheads.
The race starts at 9:00 AM sharp, you should arrive by 8:30 to get you in position.
We timed a very conservative lap on a slow bike and it takes about 50 seconds to complete each lap. We will be doing 35 laps. Yes, this will be hard. No, we don't care if you think it's too much.
The course location is: SV Speedway. 8295 Tujunga Ave. Sun Valley, CA 91352
If you want to race this race but have not raced any of the SFVISBF Mini Moto races, you'll still need to sign up and pay your entry fee.
You must wear a helmet. Leathers, shin-guards, full kit are a smart choice as there will be some rubbing on the tight turns.
We will be taking day-of sign ups for this one.
Bring your cash and your bike and be ready to race. Be sure you check all the guidelines to make sure your bike is legal. Don't roll up with a pocket bike or a trail 50 thinking that you're going to race because you're not. Also don't come looking for a loaner bike to use. Be ready. It's your responsibility to be on time and prepared. I know this comes off a little harsh but we don't want our time wasted by the ill-prepared and the falsely entitled. See you on the track!
This event is totally free for spectators, come and watch the fun. Anyone wanting to shoot photos or video will need to get a hold of either Mike 13 or Paul as we will want copies.
Racers:
Make sure you have your number plate on your bike and it can be seen! The score keepers need to be able to see your number. I recommend you have a plate on the rear and sides of your bike as well.
