May 13th Re-Cap
Race day: May 13th, 2007. The first official SFVISBF race was on Mothers Day 2006, this marks one full year of racing and our second year season is in full swing. Last races winner was not present, nor were some mainstay racers from the season before, we still had 22 cars lined up at Twisted Oak at 7:30 AM. We waited down by the park until it was time to go and then all went up in masse to the posh residential neighborhood where the race would start. Once we go lined up the call to race was given and we gradually gained speed as we navigated the turns of the quiet suburban streets. By the time we got to Victory Blvd the pack was already thinning out with JD2 taking the win again. Some discrepancy in the speeds we were achieving but somewhere in the 60+ mph range was the general consensus.
